Blog: Microsoft Azure is getting some real traction against Amazon Web Services

As a Digital Transformation Architect Practitioner, I do not have allegiance to any specific technology, application life cycle (ALM), nor delivery methodology. I practice by understanding the overarching transformation objectives, timeframe, constraints, and then go from there. As a practitioner working with major global accounts, I have to think about what is best for them overall, and on the cloud-front Amazon Web Services have been the leader, all things considered.
However, Microsoft is making very impressive strides in their Azure cloud offering and in many ways are becoming very competitive with AWS technology-speaking. So from my Digital Transformation Architect Practitioner viewpoint, I welcome the advances in Azure. Exciting times for being in the Digital Transformation business!
